Our mission

We strive to be a family from a variety of cultures and backgrounds seeking to grow in our relationship with Christ, empowered to love and serve our neighborhood and world in the name of Jesus.

Our vision

LifePoint Church - making disciples who make disciples... who make disciples.

Our Story

LifePoint began in 1873 -- founded by Swedish Baptist immigrants seeking freedom from the state church of their native country.  Long a presence on St. Paul's east side, the church has switched locations and changed names several times while remaining always Bible-based, outreach-oriented and actively responsive to its community's spiritual and material needs.  LifePoint moved to Edgerton St. in 1963 and adopted the current name in 2017.

Our Ministry Partners

In recent years we have provided worship space to Hmong, Puerto Rican and Vietnamese congregations from our increasingly diverse neighborhood.  Since 2007 we have partnered with Trinity Karen Baptist Church and also Minnesota Thai Church.  The Karen, many of whom live nearby, are political refugees from Burma.
